The climate is tropical with average daytime temperatures ranging from 25 degrees Celsius in winter to 28 in summer (78 - 84 degrees Fahrenheit). However, at the altitude of the Ecolodge, winter nighttime temperatures may be as low as 20 degrees Celsius (69 degrees Fahrenheit). This makes for very pleasant cool nights when you will appreciate a light blanket and a sweater for the evenings.

No air conditioning is needed and there are no mosquitoes at the Ecolodge. Mean annual rainfall is 40 inches (1,000 mm), most of which falls between September and November and in May. February to April are the driest months. These are statistical data and variations do occur, of course.
