Willy and Richard stayed with us for six weeks. They
worked in the garden and Richard made an outdoor sink
for the kitchen that is very useful. They told us that they
would answer every question of anyone who wants to
become a volunteer.

Dale and Francis Recchia
Francis and Dale helped in the garden and did a great
job making a rock garden with all kind of different peppers. Dale wrote: "We would like to thank you for the privilege
of helping you with your Ecolodge venture and wish
you success with the business."

Janet and Ross McLean
I am sincerely impressed with what you have achieved at the Ecolodge, and I shall be doing my best to spread the word. 
I was pleased to introduce Janet to the beauty of the island
and its people, and already we are talking about returning in 2004.  You should be really proud of what you have already accomplished.  I admire the personal sacrifices you have made to achieve that quality.  As we mentioned, Bernt's cooking is certainly one of the highlights of the island.  Our group's last dinner was so memorable.

As well, I am pleased for the island and its trail system, and the
development of another arm of its ecotourism potential.  That vision was initially Tom's.  The teams of Canadian volunteers has been so successful, and James' leadership and enthusiasm is so important.  I trust that this program can continue and that Janet and I shall be part of it.
