The
triathlon is planned as follows:
The Swim, 825 m: There
will be a triangle course for the swim at Well's Bay. There are two
markers to swim around (The Saba Marine Park will provide a boat for
safety).
The Transition Swim/Bike: The
transition is at the bottom of the Well’s Bay road. If there are
more than10-15 participants, they will start about 10 meters from the
beach (first corner) where there is more space.
The Bike Ride, 8 Km: Almost
all uphill, sea graphic. The ride goes through The Bottom, St. John's,
Windwardside to the end of the mountain road a few hundred meters from
the Ecolodge.
The transition Bike/Hike: The participants leave the bikes at the end
of the road.
The Hike, 5.3 Km: The
hike/run goes over nature trails on the Crispeen / Bottom Mountain Trail,
connecst to Sandy Cruz Trail (via the Troy Hill road) towards the end
of the Sandy Cruz Trail.
The Finish: The finish is at the Hells Gate end of the Sandy Cruz Trail.
